During the month of October, create an original Halloween-themed or horror short film (2-5 minutes) - it could be creepy, scary, spooky or funny, but please keep it PG-13 (for the kids!).
Any style of filmmaking may be utilized - live action, music video, puppets, stop motion, animation, found footage, experimental, etc.
The goal is to have fun, do something creative, and share your work with the community!
Film with your own equipment, mobile device, or borrow audio/video equipment from Easthampton Media.
Open to all who live, work, or attend school in Easthampton/Southampton - we encourage all ages and skill levels to participate.
Submissions are due Sunday October 25th.
The Halloween Video Festival takes place on Friday October 30th at 6pm via Zoom, on Easthampton/Southampton TV Channel 191, Facebook, and YouTube.
After the screening, participants on Zoom will have a chance to share their thoughts and ask questions.
Due to COVID-19, we encourage participants to utilize members within your household or social pod to create your movie.

Content must be PG-13 - this is an all-ages Film Festival. Easthampton Media reserves the right to reject a submission if it is inappropriate.
Video file should be .mp4 or .mov - recommended resolution is 1920×1080 and frame rate of 30fps.
No copyrighted images or sounds. There are a plethora of Copyright-free or Creative Commons Music/Sound FX available on the Internet. Your original Music and Sound Effects are encouraged too!
Deadline to submit: Sunday October 25th by 11:59pm.
