Public Service Announcements (PSAs)
E•Media welcomes Public Service Announcements from nonprofit organizations serving our communities. PSAs are aired during program breaks as interstitial programming to help inform residents about local services, educational opportunities, cultural events, and other community resources.
To ensure fairness and consistency, E•Media maintains a content-neutral policy. We do not evaluate whether we agree or disagree with the viewpoints or messages presented. Instead, we apply the same programming standard to every submission.
PSAs may educate the public, raise awareness, or encourage community engagement. However, if a submission includes a call for viewers to take political, advocacy, or financial action, it falls outside E•Media’s programming guidelines and cannot be aired as interstitial programming. This includes content that encourages or organizes activities such as supporting or opposing legislation, contacting elected officials, participating in political campaigns, voting for or against candidates or ballot measures, soliciting donations or financial contributions, or other similar advocacy or fundraising efforts.
We welcome thoughtful discussion and education on public issues, as well as informational announcements about nonprofit programs, services, and events, including fundraising events. Our only limitation is that PSA content must remain informational rather than encouraging political, advocacy, or financial action.
